One of a series of needlepoint designs from Dundonald Designs that were inspired by Mary Queen of Scots’ embroideries. In this design the cat is thought to represent Elizabeth I and the mouse, Mary. Worked in half cross stitch on 10hpi double thread canvas, the finished piece will measure 14.5″x14.5″ (37×37.cm).
