As eldest son of the French King, Mary Queen of Scots’ husband took the title of Dauphin (or ‘Dolphin’) of France. This needlepoint design, inspired by one of Mary Queen of Scots’ embroideries, is worked in half cross stitch on 10hpi double thread canvas. The finished needlepoint will measure 14.5″x14.5″ (37×37.cm).
