This design was inspired by vintage books of birds in The British Library and is part of Glorafilia’s birdlife collection is worked on 12hpi,
The finished piece will measure 16.5″x16.5″, 42x42cm. The sample is mainly worked in tent stitch with a selection of other stitches to give the finished piece a more textured feel. Instructions are given for all the stitches, but the cushion can be stitched completely in tent stitch if you prefer.
The kit includes a printed 12hpi canvas, needle, sufficient wool and stranded cotton to complete the design and full instructions.
