This design of tropical flowers with a gorgeous humming bird was inspired by vintage books of botanical prints in The British Library. It goes particularly well with Butterflies. This kit is worked on 12hpi, the finished piece will measure 16.5″x16.5″, 42x42cm. The sample is mainly worked in tent stitch with a selection of other stitches to give the finished piece a more textured feel. Instructions ae given for all the stitches, but the cushion can be stitched completely in tent stitch if you prefer.
The kit includes a printed 12hpi canvas, needle, sufficient Anchor wool to complete the design and full instructions.
